Taggia at FireSky Resort & Spa in Scottsdale is once again offering its popular Apertivo Hour weekdays from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Taggia Bar. What does this mean? During Apertivo Hour, you can enjoy a seasonal rotation of complimentary small plates when enjoying any beer, wine or cocktail. This fun twist on the traditional happy hour is perfectly timed with spring, as it can be enjoyed at Taggia’s indoor/outdoor bar and lounge spaces overlooking the resort lagoon and pools. Taggia features a menu of Northern Italian recipes and housemade pastas bred from Italy’s Ligurian coastline. A hidden gem located in Old Town Scottsdale, guests can dine fireside under the stars on the patio overlooking resort lagoons or in the intimate, rustic dining room.
After enjoying a couple drinks and a few small bites, may I suggest heading into the restaurant to have a nice meal out on the patio? My husband and I went to dinner after Apertivo hour for his birthday. The weather was gorgeous for sitting outside and the service was exceptional. To start we had three appetizers, the burrata with warm caponata, pine nut and crystallized basil, the grilled calamari with charred eggplant-saba puree, lemon caper vinaigrette and arugula and my favorite the crudo, which was ahi tuna, black olive gremolata, radish and lemon.
