The 5th annual Arizona Cocktail Week is back for another round this Feb. 13 – 21, 2016, including an all-new lineup of spirited cocktail events that are sure to make this year’s AZCW the biggest and best yet, highlighted by the new Cocktailgating Festival. Hosted Saturday, Feb. 13 (11 am – 5 pm), Sunday, Feb. 14 (11 am – 5 pm) and Monday, Feb. 15 (1 – 4 pm), this sprawling event will transform the Hotel Valley Ho’s entire south parking lot into a three-day outdoor cocktail party, featuring:
- Jack Daniel’s mobile distillery
- Guinness Brewery mobile pub
- Don Julio pickup truck
- Altos Tequila dunk tank
- Tito’s Handmade Vodka’s gaming area
- Pop-up Little Woody bar
- Bartender Swap Meet
- Food trucks

Agave Alley is a tequila-fueled bowling party that also doubles as the official after party of the Cocktail Carnival. Hosted on Saturday, February 13 (10 pm – close), Cocktail Carnival guests will be invited to take complimentary bus transportation from the Hotel Valley Ho to the Scottsdale Bowlmor and bowl while sipping tequila samples with each lane sponsored by a premium tequila brand. Admission is complimentary with the purchase of an AZCW Chairman/Chairman Plus Pass or an event ticket to the Cocktail Carnival. First come, first serve.
All-new Seminars: Ranging in size from large capacity (marquee) to smaller (micro), more intimate, hands-on seminars, topics include everything from Beer Cocktails 2.0 to iPhone food & drink photography to honey varietal & spirit pairings to our big marquee seminars that include a range of global talent and topics “Agave Confidential”, “The Story of Rum told by the Cocktail”, “The Herbalist” and “Five Cocktails that changed Irish Whiskey forever” presented by The Dead Rabbit (NYC).
Paint the Town Red with a $10 signature cocktail offer at restaurants and bars across Arizona. Served throughout Arizona Cocktail Week, participating “Paint the Town Red” restaurants will pair a signature cocktail (or two cocktails, or a cocktail and a gourmet bar bite) all for only $10. Even better, a portion of the week’s proceeds will be donated directly to each participant’s charity of choice.
Last but not least, the 2016 AZCW will close with Last Call, a cocktail event hosted in Tucsonon Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the popular lounge, The Flycatcher. Join the AZCW crew as the head down south for a parking lot party featuring pop-up bars, an on-site broadcast of the cult-favorite radio show Romo Live, and more.
