The Parlor had me out to their summer cocktail dinner inspired by Chef Miguel’s Mexican heritage and my favorite dish was the tamal de flor de calabeza with queso oaxaca, chile poblano and crema salsa verde.
After flying back from LA on Monday, the first thing I did was hit Flower Child because I needed to eat something healthy. So I went for my typical steak and veggies, pretty sure I could eat that every day.
One last item that isn’t from here, it’s from the OC last weekend but it was basically amazing. Healthy? Hell no! But it was like they knew my favorite things and put them all in one dish. Fries, mac n cheese, candied bacon, love! Maybe Pig Pen Delicacy will be hitting our food scene before you know it?!
