Each week we want your opinion on the best of the best in our local food scene. That way we learn of some new places to eat and drink and we can support our local restaurants, food trucks, etc. Your vote counts, so be heard and tell us your favorite!
Last week we asked for your favorite Coffee Joint and we had an overwhelming response but we can’t include everyone. These were the top 5:

You may have shed a tear when Lola closed their doors at the Central location but you could always take the drive downtown to enjoy their coffee and treats. That frown probably turned upside down when they expanded back to Central Phoenix inside The Yard. Voted the best coffee house, best latte and who knows what else. You can be sure that they are legit when it comes to making some smooth coffee and latte art. 1001 N 3rd Ave Phoenix 85003 or 5632 N 7th St Phoenix 85014.
Not many people know about Shine but they should. It started out as a coffee truck, I remember seeing it at different events and festivals and then it opened up the cutest little space not too far from my house. During cooler weather they have a great outside spot and during the heat they have a great indoor space. Locally roasted espresso & coffees and chef-created local pastries make this one of your local favorites. 10 W. Vernon Ave. Phoenix, 85003

Has spread all over town, so there’s a good chance you have stopped by for some of their Cartel-roasted beans. If not, you have probably tried them somewhere else since they supply coffee to other local restaurants and cafes. They have delicious eats and high standards for their coffee. Stop in and taste for yourself. 7124 E 5th Ave, Scottsdale AZ 85251 other locations listed on website.

“Cooper Star on 7th Ave. & Heathetbrae in Central Phoenix is by far my favorite!” – Dyanna Hyde
With specialty drinks like white chocolate peanut butter and coconut mocha, we know why! They use beans from Tempe’s Lost Dutchman Coffee Roasters and you can munch on some bagels, salad and other treats while you’re there too. 4220 N 7th Ave Phoenix 85013

I am no stranger to 32 Shea and it looks like you guys aren’t either. Raving about their coffee and Nutella drinks really doesn’t surprise me. I am a fan myself of their homemade syrups, especially around Halloween when they bust out the pumpkin spice lattes. Not just known for their coffee and breakfasts, you can enjoy their lunches, dinner and happy hours! 10626 N 32nd St 85028.
Thank you to everyone that voted and to those that graciously shared their pics for this post. Don’t forget to vote for the tastiest burger spot and see the results next week! http://www.azfoodieblog.com/its-burger-time/
