My first workout back at OrangeTheory fitness in Paradise Valley was about a week or so ago and it destroyed me! Every part of my body ached afterwards and holding the baby was quite a challenge. I won’t lie, I took Tylenol that night just so that my body would feel decent enough to be able to sleep. That my friends is what happens when you’ve been out of the game for months. But it felt great to get back in there and back onto the road of feeling healthy and strong.
I wanted to give a little behind the scenes look at what a typical workout would be. I always start on the treadmill so that’s where our video fun will begin. We’re talking slow motion for me right now, I’m working my way back up to that fast pace. For now my base pace is at 4.5 mph and my push is typically 5 mph and I’ll do 6mph for the all out.
Thanks to OrangeTheory and Blue Hamilton for kicking my ass back into shape, can’t wait to start seeing the changes in my body. And special thanks to our amazing videographer for the day Matt!
