We have our first collaboration dinner coming in hot and destined to be out of this world! The stars have aligned for you guys and after months of pursuing these Chefs, I present to you Chef Jeff Kraus and Chef Adam Allison. This is a one-night, special event where the two of these Chefs will work together in the kitchen to create a four-course meal with one word in mind: Balance. Proceeds from this event will go to support a local charity that the Chefs choose.
Chef Kraus is the owner of Crêpe Bar, a restaurant located in Tempe where they just finished remodeling the space to make it bigger. Their crêpes incorporate seasonal ingredients, thoughtfully sourced from some of the top farms in Arizona and the region. You can find them open for breakfast and lunch and they also offer an exceptional selection of espresso, coffee, and teas sourced from a carefully curated list of purveyors. Chef Kraus has received the Local Hero Award from Edible Phoenix for chef/restaurant in 2015 and named Phoenix Magazine’s Best New Restaurant in 2013, the former ‘Truckin’ Good Food’ chef has continued to advance his neighborhood brunch and coffee spot into an award winning destination.
Chef Adam Allison attended culinary school locally at Le Cordon Bleu in Scottsdale and has been professionally cooking for 19 years. His style of cooking lends to southern and southwestern tastes but he is familiar with multiple cuisines. He has appeared on The Food Network, The Cooking Channel, Esquire and multiple local television programs. Award winner at the Epicuriad, Phoenix Magazine, World Food Championships and Hickman Farms. He has worked in multiple restaurants around the valley as executive chef and has gone on to own several popular food trucks. He currently is Executive Chef for SuperFarm food truck, United Catering and Chef/co-owner of Chaco Flaco lo-cal drink mixer line.
