Shake Shack’s Shacktoberfest is on tap from Friday, September 23rd through Sunday, October 2nd, 2016. The annual celebration features an Oktoberfest-inspired menu, including a Bavarian-Style Soft Pretzel, new to this year’s menu.
Now in its eleventh year, Shacktoberfest is the only time of year to get a special Shake Shack Bier Stein for $10.00 (25 oz.), filled to the brim with your choice of Brooklyn Brewery’s brisk, malty Oktoberfest brew or Shake Shack’s very own ShackMeister® Ale; after that, it’s yours to keep and just $7.69 for a refill throughout Shacktoberfest (and every annual Shacktoberfest going forward)!
The Shacktoberfest menu, available at all US Shacks, including the three Valley locations at Scottsdale Fashion Square, Uptown Plaza in Phoenix, and the newest location at Kierland Commons in Phoenix, features Oktoberfest-inspired bratwursts, burgers and more. This year they’ll be serving up:
Brat Burger: Hamburger topped with a flat-top riddled Usinger’s jalapeño-cheddar-stuffed bratwurst, crispy ShackMeister Ale-marinated shallots and ShackSauce ($7.59)
ShackMeister Brat: Flat-top griddled Usinger’s cheddar-stuffed bratwurst, crispy ShackMeister Ale-marinated shallots and cheese sauce ($5.29)
Bavarian-Style Soft Pretzel: Toasted soft pretzel topped with Bavarian spices ($2.99; add Shack cheese sauce for $1.00) And you are going to want that cheese sauce because it’s good on everything!
Two Bavarian-inspired Shakes:
- Apfelstrudel Shake: Apple strudel shake topped with whipped cream and cinnamon-sugar shortbread ($5.79)
- Black Forest Shake: Chocolate and cherry shake with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles ($5.79)
All bratwursts are made by Usinger’s Famous Sausage Co., a Milwaukee-based, family-run butcher that has been making authentic German sausages for over 130 years.
So put on your lederhosen and head to your nearest Shake Shack for a bier, burger, and brat before Shacktoberfest ends! Prost und guten appetite!
