“Farmer in the House” Dinner with Pat Duncan + Fess Parker Winery at ZuZu at Hotel Valley Ho
Join Executive Chef Charles Wiley, special guest Mr. Pat Duncan of Duncan’s Trading Company, and Fess Parker Winery for a delicious evening of food and wine. This special “Farmer in the House” Dinner at ZuZu inside the hip Hotel Valley Ho is on Monday, May 16 at 6:30 p.m. The chefs have crafted a four-course menu around Pat’s beautiful produce, sustainably grown in Laveen and Litchfield Park. Savor Shrimp and Lobster Cake, a Beet Medley Salad, Soy-Honey Glazed Hawaiian Tuna and Charred Beef Tenderloin, and Fennel Cake with anise syrup. The menu is paired with four wines from Fess Parker Winery & Vineyard of Los Olivos, California. Fess Parker is renowned for its high-quality Rhone and Burgundian varietals and has won several national awards for them. Course 3: Herb Roasted Rack of Lamb – turnip, baby leek + rainbow chard
Course 4: Carrot Cake Trifle – cream cheese + crispy carrot
