#azfoodiebaby is already a month old and it seems to have flown by! We have our good days and our not so great days but we have a routine and it seems to be working. In baby time, a month is nothing and I don’t expect a change in sleep for at least another couple weeks, maybe a month.
He still sleeps all the time but when he’s awake, during that brief time, I love being able to talk to him, watch Toddler K sing to him and kiss his forehead and hear his daddy tell him who we are and what his name is. He watches us intently, he is starting to grab onto us and at one point after a kiss from Toddler K he smiled and it brought such joy to his big brother. We love his little coos and all the ways he ‘talks’ to us, I can’t wait to see how his personality starts to develop.
During this past month, I have been filled with gratitude at the amount of love and support we have received. It’s the little things that are so greatly appreciated and often times I don’t think my friends realize how much it truly means to me and our family. Since we don’t have family in town, we have had many people bring food to help out, coffee and even just their presence to keep me company.
Most recently our friends at Marcellino’s reached out and asked if they could prepare us a to go meal. I was more than happy to oblige and excited to try their food. Here’s what Chef Marcellino and Sima prepared for us:
Fresh pasta with tomato sauce, salmon with potatoes and fresh veggies, polenta funghi and biscotti. There were no leftovers last night, the meal was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. We can’t wait to have a date night and enjoy another meal at Marcellino’s, if you’re looking for good Italian food, you need to check them out. Tell them that AZFoodie sent you!
