Peoria that is. This is the second year of Eight’s Great GrillFest and tickets are on sale now at www.azpbs.org/grillfest. On Sunday, November 2nd, 2014 from 12-3pm at Trilogy at Vistancia you can enjoy food, wine, beer and cooking demonstrations all for $40! This year you have the option to purchase a VIP ticket for only $50, which will give you access to the event an hour early and the opportunity to listen in on the exclusive Chef Panel that includes national television personalities. Of course, you’ll also be munching on unlimited food samples from restaurants like Cucina Tagliani, Betty’s Nosh and Pork on a Fork and sipping wine and craft beer samples. Don’t forget to check out the SubZero/Wolf Chef’s Demonstration Stage where chefs will be showcasing their culinary expertise.
Featured this year will be America’s Test Kitchen, Julia Collin Davison and Bridget Lancaster, and international wine authority Anthony Dias Blue. Blue is known worldwide for the San Francisco International Wine Competition, the largest global wine competition in the USA, and the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. He is author of numerous books on wine and food. Also joining the panel are the host of Eight’s Check, Please! Arizona, Chef Robert McGrath, and Savor the Southwest’s Barbara Fenzl. A new addition to Eight’s Great GrillFest is Martie Sullivan of Arizona’s Sweet Basil Gourmetware and Cooking School.
