Boasting an abundance of Northern and Southern Indian specialties with an emphasis on fresh, authentic ingredients, Marigold Maison will be among the finest restaurants to focus specifically on regional Indian cuisine and it opened Monday, Sept. 8th.
From traditional Indian favorites like tikki masala, vindaloo and korma to more innovative interpretations like seared scallops, whole tandoori fish and whole hen, the full-service Indian concept’s menu will appeal to both longtime Indian food fans and first-timers alike.
The moniker, explains Andy Fotis, Marigold’s general manager, is a nod to the bright, colorful and edible flower commonly used in Indian prayers, wedding ceremonies and for garnishing food, while Maison encapsulates the feeling of friends and family gathering and eating together in the home.
“What we’ve created here at Marigold Maison is a place where you can experience and enjoy authentic Indian cuisine, but in a cozy and comfortable atmosphere, much like that of your own home,” said Fotis. “Like the marigold itself, our establishment prides itself on bright, inviting colors, full flavor profiles and an ability to brighten and lighten the moods of those in its presence.”
Following its grand opening Sept. 8th, Marigold Maison will take part in Arizona Restaurant Week from Sept. 19 – 28. Reservations are recommended for parties of more than five, and can be made by calling 602.795.0020.
