Calling all chocophiles! New seasonal chocolates have just arrived at Chocolade van Brugge straight from Belgium and these are a perfect treat this holiday season. Owner, Fred Verbeke, was excited to present the new flavors that have already shown much popularity among their guests. With white, milk, and dark to choose from, these imported chocolate confections are everything you could imagine rich, velvety chocolate should be. Flavors such as Caramel Apple and Crème Brûlée, and also their sugar-free truffles, are well crafted and made me realize how versatile chocolate is. If you would like to try them, the sampler tray is a great option to taste a variety of their chocolate offerings. Here are some of my favorites:
In addition to the little bites of chocolates they offer, the display cases showcase beautiful chocolate sculptures. These, like everything else in the café, are a work of art and will make for fantastically delicious gifts this holiday season or as décor for any party (there is a New Years champagne bottle which is my personal favorite)!
Also, if you are interested in hosting an event, Chocolade van Brugge would love to work with you in creating your ideal party with waffles, crepes, or chocolates and even beer or wine pairings.
And while you are looking for a sweet box of chocolates to gift some lucky recipient(s), be sure to treat your self to their famous scratch-made Belgian hot chocolate and an authentic liege waffle as well.
Gift certificates are also available in store. For more information about Chocolade van Brugge, please visit their website: http://www.chocoladevanbrugge.com
