Sorry for the lack lustre photos, I guess it’s time to purchase a camera that takes better pictures of my food. Let me state for the record that the food is not lacking at Paul Martin’s American Grill. These sweet potato fries, oh yeah, crisp and seasoned just right. My toddler’s favorite item from the menu.
Can I give two thumbs up for the service at this restaurant. Our server was the best, I mean over the top kind of service and I always appreciate over the top kind of service.
Toddler K stayed preoccupied with the Iphone and sweet potato fries while we enjoyed a somewhat quiet early evening dinner of braised short ribs and the husband got marinated skirt steak. This might sound odd to you but we ordered a side of broccolini and I’m still dreaming about it. It was so simple, yet sometimes the simplest of flavors seem to make my tastebuds scream the most. So tip, get the broccolini all to yourself. We also ordered a side of the macaroni and cheese, which was creamy, crunchy (from the prosciutto) and also a favorite.
My dish was the winner for the night. The short ribs were tender and melt in your mouth good, that with the broccolini, what more do you need. My husband enjoyed his skirt steak but was disappointed that the menu said potatoes as the side and he ended up with three huge tomatoes on his plate.
