Bitter & Twisted sure knows how to show us a good time! Our AZFoodie VIP Happy Hour was a hit and if you didn’t get to join us, you can relive it through these pictures but you might feel pretty left out and sad that you didn’t get to enjoy it yourself. Don’t worry though, you can always head down to visit them on your own time and try all the goodies we indulged in.
One thing I really appreciated seeing was Ross taking the time to mingle with everyone and explain the special rum punch he made for our group. You could see his passion bubbling out of him and he knows his stuff guys. One of our guests was not going to try the punch because she didn’t fancy rum. Ross got her to try a sip and she immediately was in shock by how much she actually enjoyed it, “It tastes like a yellow skittle!” Clearly he knows how to make good drinks 🙂
Chef Tam worked his magic in the kitchen and we were elated with all the dishes they brought forth. We had the hurricane popcorn with butter + garlic, sesame + nori + shichimi spicy rice crackers (highly addictive), the market meat & cheese board with artisanal cheese + select cured meats preserves + chocolate quicos, house pickles + grilled noble bread (I could eat one all to myself) and those balls of purgatory with a side of grilled noble bread (Oh yeah!). For dessert most of our guests ended with the Passion Pit cupcakes, a Plymouth Gin white velvet cake with passionfruit curd and a fresh raspberry french buttercream. Everyone left satisfied and maybe a little tipsy (#wasted).
