Sam Fox has been chosen to represent Arizona’s culinary scene and host a dinner at the Beard House, a part of the James Beard Foundation who’s mission is to celebrate, nurture and preserve America’s culinary heritage and future. This summer, Sam is bringing six chefs, sommelier Regan Jasper and beverage director Mat Snapp, to represent his various concepts in New York City including Little Cleo’s Seafood Legend, Culinary Dropout, Flower Child, True Food Kitchen, North Italia, and The Henry.
The dinner, which will take place on Thursday, June 23, is considered one of the highest honors as chefs must be invited to cook at the Beard House.
“We are honored and thankful for this opportunity to cook at the Beard House not only to represent Sam and our concepts but Phoenix, as well,” said Clint Woods, Fox Restaurant Concepts’ VP of Culinary. “There’s a significant amount of culinary excellence here in the Southwest and we’re looking forward to showcasing it at a place that was once home to Chef Beard, one of the most respected culinary leaders in history. That, in itself, is an honor.”
The chefs that will head to NYC this summer are as follows:
Chef Clint Woods, VP of Culinary
Chef Christopher Wolven
Chef Jason Frandsen
True Food Kitchen
Chef Brad Brunin
Chef Chris Curtiss
Chef Plinio Sandalio
