Sauce Pizza & Wine continues its steady growth with the launch of its first Gilbert location now open in the Rivulon center at the corner of Gilbert Road and Rivulon Boulevard, just north of Loop 202. The fast-casual eatery is one of the first businesses to open in a new multi-tenant retail building, part of the 250-acre, mixed-use development. Known for its collection of made-from-scratch Italian dishes, the restaurant will be a refreshing addition to surrounding neighborhoods including Power Ranch which was recently named America’s No. 1 ‘Boom Town’ by realtor.com.

Boasting a modern-industrial yet inviting interior and expansive patio, the new Sauce is housed in a 3,200-square-foot space that will mimic the aesthetics of existing locations with its partly open kitchen layout and a gas-fired pizza oven as the focal point. The restaurant will also feature some unique elements while staying true to its already-popular menu and friendly customer service. In conjunction with the opening of Gilbert, Sauce has also unveiled a brand new selection of light bites, re-invented paninis, signature pizzas, pastas and more.
In addition to the eatery’s staple dishes, the menu at Sauce now features new items such as Caprese Skewers, a Sopressata & Asparagus Bruschetta made with goat cheese, fresh garlic and house-made basil pesto and a Pesto & Marinated Tomatoes pasta tossed with house-made basil pesto and toasted pine nuts. New signature pizzas feature seasonal ingredients such as the Bacon & Brussels Sprouts and the Prosciutto & Fig topped with black mission figs, goat cheese and fresh arugula. Guests can choose from original thin or artisan hand-stretched crust that’s made from scratch, in-house daily. A gluten-free crust option is also available. Mainstay favorites will include an assortment of salads like the Italian Chopped with pepperoni, sopressata, smoked mozzarella, Kalamata olives and other Italian inspired ingredients plus paninis, desserts, and a variety of beer and wine including a selection on tap.
