Please tell me why it took so long for me to check out Snooze Am Eatery? It was an accidental encounter this morning. I was wanting to shop for an outfit but the shop wasn’t open yet and I had an hour to kill. Unsure of what to do with myself, I remembered this little place nearby that has been recommended to me. Although I felt that I could not stuff one more morsel into my already bloated stomach, I parked and headed into Snooze.
It was packed and loud, this is a good sign people. For the sake of the blog and for food pornography lovers everywhere, I had to order something that was not only going to taste amazing but would also be delightful on the eyes. I ordered the Bella! Bella! Benny and some coffee. The guy next to me ordered a milkshake and pancakes, hats off to you sir, it was only 9:30am but who says that’s not a balanced breakfast.
Service was attentive, all kinds of people from business folks to mom and dads were enjoying this little place that I had neglected to come to. After getting my dish, I kicked myself for waiting so long to come here. That Bella! Bella! knocked my socks off. Thinly sliced crispy bread with a nice layer of prosciutto, topped with perfectly poached eggs and then that cream cheese hollandaise and drizzle of balsamic reduction. Wow! The flavor is genius and although I only meant to eat a bite or two, I ate the whole damn thing. Let’s not forget the hashbrowns, usually I skip those extra carbs but they were good and I enjoyed how they were presented. I smashed them around in that sauce and egg yolk and had to force myself to put the fork down.
Snooze my friend, I will be back for some sweet potato pancakes – talk about indulgence!
