Say goodbye to everything unpleasant about soaring summer temps by saying hello to the highly anticipated return of the desert city’s favorite mashup of top-shelf cocktail mixing and high-profile mingling. Summer Cocktail Camp is back in session. . .
This year, back-to-back craft cocktail-making classes create a seven-week tour of the Valley’s hottest cocktail spots, starting from 1 pm – 3 pm Sunday, July 17, and continuing weekly through the end of August.
While this year’s cocktail recipes are new and never-before-featured, the event itself won’t break away from a recipe that works. This summer’s event lineup will once again include appearances by lively emcee and Phoenix Magazine Editor Craig Outhier as well as contributing cocktail writer Shelby Moore, plus a revolving list of top mixologists and local bar talent, giving guests the opportunity to mix and mingle at the likes of The Ostrich, Barrio Urbano, The Gladly, Clever Koi, Christopher’s + Crush, Jade Bar and Virtu.
This year’s Summer Cocktail Camp series will feature an online ticketing system atSummerCocktailCamp.com, where guests can purchase tickets for particular sessions. Don’t wait for last call however – last year’s events sold out in days, and this year’s seats will be held on a first-come, first-serve basis.
